A South Florida–based writer who grew up on the sun-bleached streets that shape the world of his fiction. With more than twenty years spent in marketing, training, and education, he brings a sharp eye for detail and atmosphere to his novels.

A lifelong admirer of noir detective stories, true crime, and tightly wound thrillers, Binnix writes from a place where the heat, humidity, and human complexity of South Florida converge — and sometimes ventures well beyond it, from the moss-draped squares of Savannah to Civil War-era Missouri.

When he isn’t writing, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
